No matter the reason when you fall off your track, start over immediately right then and there. Don't wait until the next day or later. That just gives you reason not to start again. Don't sabotage yourself. Just recognize the spill, take responsibility for it and move on.
Make a list of everything that needs to be done. then start at the top of the list and dont do anything new until it's finished. Then cross it off the list. Move on to the next item doing the same until the list is finished. Add new things to the bottom of the list only.
