I have upped the intensity on my walking workouts by increasing the incline or increasing the speed, or both! And my weight loss has been much more noticeable! I am totally sweating by the time I am done and I think it's true that if you are working hard enough to sweat, you are working hard enough to see a difference in your body! (As long as you are eating right too!) I also increased my workouts from 45 minutes to 60 minutes. This all has helped me over the plateau I had hit!
I have added a few fruits and lots of veggies to my snacks each day and it keeps me full without ruining my weight loss efforts!! Also, light popcorn is a great, filling snack, with only 15 calories per cup of popped popcorn. I will eat 4-5 cups in the afternoon, between lunch and dinner, and am full until dinner on only 60-75 calories! This is so much less than the other snacks I used to eat between meals!
