I was feeling a little overwhelmed yesterday as I was putting my recipes for Thanksgiving into the SparkCalculator, and then I decided to do something that thrills me to the bone--JUST EAT MODERATELY! I'm not stressing about today, because after 4 1/2 months, I HONESTLY don't like that feeling of being too full, so I'll eat moderately and throughly enjoy my family, the meal, and maybe even a taste of dessert! This is a FOREVER journey and learning to eat moderately is such a key!
Start each and every day like it's the first day of your diet. You get a second chance to start all over each and every day. You start each day with a fresh slate. Don't worry about what you did yesterday. You can do it!!!
You pay for the library with your tax money...use it! My kids LOVE going to the library and we can spend endless hours there if I let them. Getting the books and movies from the library not only saves you money, but also clutter because when you finish reading a book you take it back!
Recycle old phone books and reduce amount of trees needlessly ground up for paper towels which are a tool of the disposable society in which we live. Use phone book pages in place of paper towels to clean paint brushes before contaminating water with excess latex wall or fine arts acrylic paint.
I have recently started to do my shopping at Save-A-Lot. The savings have helped me stay within my food budget. As an example: Bananas are 3lbs for $1.00. Of course you have to know the prices because not everything is a bargain.
