Can't get in your 5+ veggies and/or fruits a day? Make a homemade vegetable soup with at least six different vegetables added to a low salt tomato juice base (seasoned with your favorite spices). Or just go to SparkRecipes to you can find everything you need!
Although I'd love to have time to use the Cardio Tracker daily, I often do not have the time. In addition, it does not always have the different things I do, such as Body Electric or the pedal exerciser that my doctor has strongly recommended. I'm using the Quick Tracker. Wish it had the calories burned!
Set your goal, and then write the steps to meet it. Make sure to include short-term goals and reasonable periods for managing your plan--every two weeks, a week, or even 2 - 3 days. Review and see what was good and continue with it. And...forgive your breaking down and doing something unhealthy.
Our state insurance plan has the best way to ensure we get our daily water requirements. It's a "2 by 2" plan. Get a 16-oz water bottle and fill it with your water. Drink two of those by 2 PM, and then drink two more before bedtime. It works for me!
