Making Snacks Count

When I choose to snack, I make sure that I'm taking in at least 10 grams of protein...that helps me to reach my daily goals AND helps me avoid snack foods that have little nutritional benefit, like chips or cookies. There are lots of options under the BariWise brand, both sweet and savory, to choose from. It's a little extra money, but SOOOO worth it!

Keeping my hands occupied

If I decide to sit and watch TV in the evenings, I keep my hands busy with knitting or other needlework, which helps me stay away from mindless snacking. No one wants to get crumbs all over a beautiful hank of premium yarn :-)
