I like using mini weight goals to keep me motivated. My goals use the next smallest number from my weigh in. Like now I weigh in at 116.1 kilos, my next goal is to weigh in the 115s kilos. And it works really well. I always have that next number in my head when I eat or work out. It really works!
When I get a sweets craving I usually do this: I turn off everything that distracts, sit down comfy, and start to enjoy what I craved. Then as soon as I notice i'm not savoring each bite, just eating I stop. My craving is then satisfied and I don't need the whole thing.
I'm saving money. I do not want to spend bucks on things for myself, so I started tossing my change into a little piggy bank. Boy does that sum up at the end of the month. I usually always have a extra 10+ in there. That money I use to splurge myself without the guilt.
When I have a chocolate craving I make a fruit cup with 11/2 Tablespoons of Chocolate Sauce underneath it. It is delish, you can take it with you and really kicks the craving too!
I use cut up Apple, a few grapes, a slice of orange filet and maybe some copped up nuts. But all fruits fits!
Ever felt bored with your work out? Well I have. I used to never know what to do until I typed work out into the youtube search line. There are hundreds of different things there to try out. Most are only 10 minutes long but 3 times 10 minutes is 30. And it's a tone of fun too!
I always carry a small note pad and a pen in my purse. Since I do not have internet access 24/7 to track my food I use the notepad to at least write down what I ate. That way I can not forget anything or better yet lie to myself that "I haven't eaten anything all day".
I have problems with my sweet tooth.
But it is a fact that cinnamon can help against it! So when I have a sweet tooth attack that just won't go away I take a apple and quarter it and sprinkle some cinnamon on it. Eating the apple slowly you can just feel the sweet tooth go away.
