I put in what I am going to eat before I actually do. This way I am less likely to eat anything extra because I don't want to add more food or servings after I have visited that page.
Write down EVERYTHING, even when it's "BAD NEWS." It helps you keep tabs on what you're doing, see trends and sometimes see that you weren't as bad as you thought you were. It keeps you accountable and may even prevent you from going way, way overboard.
