When I'm preparing food, and I don't have time to look up the nutritional content for what I'm making, I take a picture with my phone. There are several apps that can do text recognition, and then I have it when I'm ready to sit down in front of the computer.
Take a bulb of garlic (or more!) and roast them in the oven for an hour at 350 degrees. Then add some black pepper and puree. Use this everywhere you would use another spread - use it to replace butter, mayo, or peanut butter.
