Water is a powerful tool in weight loss. Replacing soda, sugary juices and other beverages with water saves you tons of calories. Taking a sip of water between each bite of your meal helps fill you up, so you end up eating less. Water also keeps you hydrated and energized.
I work a job that I don't get out of until later at night. I used to have a little snack on my break but then would be hungry when I got home around 10:30 or 11:00 at night and would eat a meal. If I chose to stay up late I also might have a snack later that night. By cutting this from my diet (and eating more/healthier earlier), I have been able to keep a more consistent diet.
Even when you make a goof, eat something your not supposed to or skip out on a day or two or three... or exercise, reminding yourself to get going again, to not give up promotes big success. Even if you've slacked, you need to pick back up sometime and it may as well be sooner rather than later.
