When you start to feel hungry try drinking a glass of water before. Many times when I do this I no longer want to eat something after the glass of water. I find that our heads tell us to eat way more often than our bodies do.
If you are like me and get hungry at night here is what I do. I plan out my food in my nutrition tracker and always leave just enough for a night time snack which is a bowl of cheerios. That satisfies a craving if you re really hungry and has no guilt attached because it fits in your tracker.
Nighttime is the worst for me...I always get hungry. What I have found is if you suck on a piece of hard candy that is chocolate flavored (any flavor would work) the hunger passes and I don't overeat by the time the candy is gone.
