Easy Way to get 10 Mins. in

If you get up and dance to just three songs a day, you'll get in your 10 mins.. Do it to 9 songs and you've gotten in 30.. Most songs average 3-3.5 minutes.

Aim for 100 SparkPoints or more!

To get the most out of Sparkpeople every day and make it a game and a competition with yourself, try to get at least 100 sparkpoints a day. This usually means doing all or almost all of the things needed to get SparkPoints and will have you interacting in every part of the site. Eat Oatmeal for Breakfast

One of my secrets for better nutrition is to eat a better breakfast. Steel cut oatmeal is terrific and filling, especially when you add a banana or chopped up apple, and a yogurt or 1T maple syrup and 1/2 cup milk. You can make steel cut oatmeal ahead of time (1 c. oats to 3 cups water) and store in sealed container in fridge. Mush it up with a little water and microwave it 1.5 minutes til hot and then add the toppings you like.
