If you want a gooey dessert or a delicious steak dinner Its perfectly ok to indulge yourself every so often but moderation is key. If you have that dessert or big dinner just modify your meals for the rest of the day or the next or walk afterwards to burn some of it off. Even if you don't do those things in the end its still better to indulge a little now instead of engorge yourself later from depriving yourself.... enjoy that cake!
I saw this on tv! I make a pitcher of green tea and then I cut up 1 clementine or tangerine and squeeze it into the tea. I even leave the squeezed pieces in there and I put a squeezed right in my water bottle. A pitcher has about 12-15 glasses in it. So i leave it in the fridge and when I'm done what's in my water bottle, I just top it up. I'm now drinking 12-15 glasses at a minimum per day an I feel great!

I bought an electric food scale with a good sized removable surface that is easy to wash. The scale stays on the kitchen counter, Instead of estimating I weigh my portions. This has really helped with eating the right serving size and getting an immediate visual of how much common foods weigh. Now when I eat out I have that image in my head and it keeps me on target.
