On the days I do cardio only at the gym, my routine is to do 60 minutes. I dread it because it seems so long. Lately rather than stay on one piece of equipment for the entire time, I have spent 20 on the elliptical, 20 on the treadmill and 20 on the bike. I always have a quick breakfast ready when time is short. Individual containers of plain Greek yogurt, 1/3 cup of low-fat, high-fiber cereal in a snack size zip bag as well as a sm size serving of berries in a snack size zip bag when mixed together make a portable, delicious & easy breakfast.
The Sonoran Desert has hit triple digits making it virtually impossible to exercise outside after 7:00 AM. When I missed my window of opportunity for cooler AM temps yesterday, I walked 45 minutes in 108 degrees. Yes I was hydrated before I started & I had plenty of water with me. What made it
