Avoid the drive-thru!

I've figured out that if I put my purse (with all my cash/debit cards/etc.) in the backseat or even the trunk of the car (any where that I can't reach) it makes going to a drive-thru for a snack impossible. And usually I'm too lazy or rushed to stop and actually go in.

It's a win-win, I save money and avoid the calorie-dump of drive-thrus!

This has decreased my pre-work (and sometimes post-work) Starbucks consumption a ton.

Using up your leftovers!

The perfect way to make sure leftovers get eaten -- schedule them in on the food planner when you add the original meal. It's easy! You can copy the food group directly over and, for me at least, I'm making my lazy work for me. I'd almost rather just eat the leftovers that I planned than remove all those foods and add in what I really ate. Double win: leftovers get eaten AND tracked!

Morning Prep

On mornings when I know I'm going to be rushed, the night before I will put EVERYTHING out. For example, if I want to have a fried egg on an english muffin with laughing cow cheese (a favorite breakfast of mine), I'll put out the small fry pan and in it I will put the PAM spray and a spatula. Then I will get a small plastic container and place one egg, one wedge of cheese, and my english muffin (after I slice it).
