Plant a Garden

I've found hands down the best way to save on groceries is to grow my own. For every dollar I spend on the garden I harvest $5-10 in groceries. And quite frankly food doesn't get any healthier than fresh from the garden, still warm from the sun. It's also a great workout, you can pick up a really nice rototiller for half the price of a gym membership. Win-win-win baby.

Make Your Pile!

One of my lamest excuses for skipping my early am workout was that I didn't want to wake my husband up by rummaging around for workout clothes. So now I "make a pile" at bedtime, with everything I need right down to a ponytail holder and pedometer. So now my workout partner will send me a text that reads "MYP, 5", short for "make your pile, we're going at 5:00am tomorrow morning".

Almond Milk

I use almond milk in my coffee instead of creamer, it saves me 100-150 calories/day and I don't miss a thing.
