Hydrate with Ice Water

If you drink your 8 cups of water a day as ice water, you will burn about 70 additional calories as your body raises the temperature of the water to body temperature. Not much per day, but it adds up!

zig zag your calories

To get over the plateau and keep your metabolism reved up.
its good to do low calories for 5 days and then 2 days a week increase your calorie intake by like 500 and then decrease it on your other days, so never let your metabolism adjust! This is a secret athletes use all the time!

Join a Gym with FitLinxx

Find ways to compete with yourself or with others! If your gym has a way to record your accomplishments, try that. Improving steadily no matter how heavy you are is great motivation. With a point system it doesn't matter what exercise you are doing, as long as you're doing something!

Dollar Bills

Treat your dollar bills like your spare change. At the end of the day take your singles and put them in a piggy bank. You will be surprised at how fast they add up I then deposit mine in the bank at the end of every month.

Money motivated

For every pound I lost, I put $5 in an envelope in a bureau drawer. If I gained a pound, out came the $5. I never "borrowed" from it. I only put in money when a whole pound was lost. When I reached goal I had enough to treat myself and my new body to a day at a spa!

Get back to the Gym

It is so hard to get there, but I know from experience how great I feel once I am in the car, and how much better I feel when I am on my way home. It helps my mood so much.
