No dumbells? No problem!

Don't have and dumbells at home? You can use bottles of water or canned foods (EX:veggies). My dumbells tend to grow legs around my house with having 6 kids living here. Rather then taking the time to try and locate them every day or using it as an excuse "I don't have any so I can't workout today", grab a couple bottles of water or cans of veggies and throw your excuses our the window!!! emoticon

making and breaking habits

I read somewhere once that it takes 30 days to make a habit but only one day to break it. (EX: if you exercise everyday for 30 days, it becomes a habit, but it only takes 1 day to say "not today" to break your streak, causeing you to have to start the 30 days all over. Same goes with eating habits, if you are eating healthy, it only takes one day to throw you off and put you back into bad habits.) Stay focused and things will come easier.

Save 1/2 for tomorrow

When going out to eat, and you know that it's going to be a high counting meal, order something that will be okay to reheat and ask for a to go box when you order your meal. Save 1/2 of anything that counts really high and take it home with you. Enjoy a salad or steamed veggies along side to keep from feeling unsatisfied. This helps so you don't "eat if because its there" while waiting for others in your party to finish.
