Look at it this way, if you went shopping and blew 100 bucks on something you didn't need would you keep blowing money all day just because, "well i've already messed up may as well keep going." No, so do the same with eating if you make a wrong choice get back on track right away... add in an extra workout, and/or both. One mistake doesn't equal falling off the "wagon" no one's perfect and expecting perfection will lead to disappointment!
I am a big believer in not "dieting" anymore. I am making a life change and in life I like ice cream or bacon or going out to eat with my hubby on date night. In the past I'd have for gone those things in the name of a "diet" which wouldn't last long...Now I am more apt to allow myself a treat now
