So the science says that sitting can negate the hard work out you just did - not a problem, just move it. Get up & walk, dance, run, skip, shimmy, or whatever about every 30 minutes. Wear a pedometer & get those 5 miles a day in - you'll be healthier & fitter in no time!
I still splurge on pizza & pepperoni is my favorite. I take the pepperoni & set it on a paper towel on a plate. I cover it with another paper towel & microwave for a few seconds. The heat cooks the a lot of the fat out of the pepperoni & the paper towel absorbs it.
Your goals are the one thing that will keep you inspired & motivated, that is if they are meaningful/important to you, if they are measurable & obtainable, & if they are given a due date. After 15 months, I'm working on my again & feeling some awesome motivation!
The disappointment in failing is too much so I fall back to the basics. Concentrate on getting 8 glasses of water, exercise (10 min), and 3-5 servings of fruit/veggies every day. It ALWAYS works & within days I'm ready to re-incorporate all the healthy habits I've learned to date!
Try reducing your sodium/salt intake to less than 1000mg per day for 7-10 days. You'll notice a jump in weight loss which is mainly water but the scale doesn't fluctuate and the puffiness in your face and limbs goes away!
