Spanx for me!

I've been losing weight for awhile, and until it's all gone and there's been a little surgery to get rid of the excess skin, Spanx are my best friend. There's nothing like a little spandex to keep you sucked in and looking good!

Roast those veggies!

I'm not a very good vegetable eater, but find that if I roast the vegetables (I especially like roasted Brussels sprouts and Sweet potato cubes), I eat more of them. Just put a little olive oil and sea salt on them and roast for about 20-30 minutes at 375 or so until they get nice and caramelized.

Laughing Cow

When I really want a snack, I grab a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese...usually the original light swiss variety. It's creamy and rich and only 35 calories, but I feel satisfied.

Increase protein

When I hit a plateau, I try to increase my protein intake and limit carbs...just for a day or two. It's always worked so far!

Glee for me

Every morning at 5 am the alarm goes off with a CD from the "Glee" cast playing. What is it about 80's Hairband music that gets you going?! Kind of cheesy, but it wakes me up and gets me pumped...And it doesn't hurt that the first song is "Don't Stop Believing"!
