Grocery Receipts

When I get home, I check my grocery receipts for the amount I saved by buying on sale, or clipping coupons. By setting that money aside in the cookie jar, it adds up for a nice rainy day gift.

When to say No to a Doctor

Sometimes, it's necessary for a doctor's office to change an appointment. However, if it becomes a regular habit, then you have a right to say no to the constant changes. Even doctors can be fired. Remember, you're the one footing the bill. They need you worse than you need them.

Burning Off The Fat

Along with eating healthier, I'm discovering that pushing myself just a tiny bit harder is making that fat disappear. Even if the scales don't agree, I look in the mirror, and can see results. Smile!

In this day and age, it seems that negativity and bad attitudes are a way of life. I like to think positive, so even if I may be having a bad day, I will walk around, wearing a smile as my main accessory. Soon, I find by maintaining a positive attitude and smiling, it starts to rub off on others. It's true, smiling and laughter are great forms of inspiration.

Bland No More

Not all foods that are healthy have to taste like cardboard. With a little bit of experiment, there is a plethora of spices that can add flavor, without adding unwanted calories or sodium. I like the taste of flavor so much better than the taste of cardboard. *grin*

Exercising

On days when I don't feel like exercising, I motivate myself by remembering The Little Engine That Could. The more I think I can, the more convinced I become. Soon, I'm saying I knew I could.
