8 glasses a day help flush the pounds away!
To start my day, I measure out 8 glasses of water in a pitcher. I drink one glass before leaving for work. I take a container with 5 glasses (40 ozs) of water with me and I drink that at work. On my return home I drink the remaining 2 glasses before 6:00 pm. That way I don't have to get up all night to go to the bathroom. Works for me.
Do it for YOU!
Think about doing the best for yourself. Ask yourself "if not me, Who?" Look out for #1.
When you've lost weight, measure the same amount of food, place on a scale and take note. There will be a good visual of how much food you've stopped eating!
If you put off doing things, one day turns into one week, a week to a month, then it's a year that's gone by. Think of how much you could do in one year! Don't wait, start now!
Spread the Spark!
I enjoy reading about the secrets of others. Keeps me motivated and I feel that I am not alone.
Walk it off!
I try to walk every chance I get. I also wear a pedometer. At the end of the day, before my bedtime ritual, I take a look at the number of steps I've completed! What a nice surprise!
Saving money at the supermarket!
Buy items on sale and freeze them. For example some fruits & vegetables, bread and even milk. When prices go up you already have these items.
Each day I make an effort to do three things:
1) Do something nice for myself
2) Do something nice for someone else
3) Do something on my "To Do" list
These things are great motivators for a positive life.
A smile can never be kept, it can only be given away!
