I cut my used dryer sheets in half after each load of laundry. Then, I place them in my running shoes and other shoes that tend to be a little stinky. They make my shoes smell like fresh laundry! I leave em in my shoes when I work out, then throw them away when I come home. After my next load of laundry, I just replace them.
When you really don't feel like being at the gym, find a cardio machine next to a tall drink of water, and try to either out pace him or out last him. It totally worked for me today!
After watching Confessions of a Shopoholic, one quote stuck with me- "Instead of a relationship with my credit card, I have a relationship with someone who loves me back." I didn't expect to learn anything from that movie, but when I am bored and tempted to online shop, I remind myself of that quote and it helps me kill the urge to use the card!
I have a habit of doing 30 minutes on cardio machines and stopping, even if I am not exhausted. Today, instead of setting the minutes for 30, I just chose quickstart and it automatically set for 60 minutes! I just said, "okay, one more interval, one more song, till the end of the commercial break, etc." until 60 minutes and 600 calories had passed! I won't be setting a time limit for myself anymore because I know it limits what I can really do!
