With having flu this week I didn't have much of an appetite.
I took a can of chicken noodle soup and added 3 cans water instead of one.
Stir fried some frozen peas, carrots and onions and added them to the soup for extra nutrition.
Very tasty without the concentrated salt.
Choose a minimum of two Spark people each day to encourage. Many times when I've been down, it's the positive notes from my that kept me going. Be a good and encourage one another.
Don't count your success just by the scales but by the inches you are losing and the good changes in your health
Keep Your Eye On The Goal
When the going gets tough, the tough get going.
Don't let the scales fool you, but see the changes in your waistline. vs
Is procrastination your problem? Then just "take the bull by the horns" and DO IT. You will be amazed at how much you can accomplish. I proved it today.
Exercise even when you don't feel like it
I make an endeavor to walk 2 miles every day that I am not going to the gym. Sometimes due to major feet and knee problems I may only get to do 1 mile. My walk involves steep uphill roads as I live in the mountain area of BC.
With physical challenges and your house is a mess, attack it like a stone rather than a mountain -- one room at a time and rest inbetween chores. This will save your sanity and your energy and make you have a sense of accomplishment.
I have used the excuse of pain from neuropathy and low back to keep me from going back to exercising.
I chose this week to plug ahead despite pain.
Secret: It is easier to excuse ourselves away than doing what we can in small doses.
