Soup without the high sodium

With having flu this week I didn't have much of an appetite.
I took a can of chicken noodle soup and added 3 cans water instead of one.
Stir fried some frozen peas, carrots and onions and added them to the soup for extra nutrition.
Very tasty without the concentrated salt.

How To Keep Going

Choose a minimum of two Spark people each day to encourage. Many times when I've been down, it's the positive notes from my emoticon that kept me going. Be a good emoticon and encourage one another.

Walking in spite of pain

I make an endeavor to walk 2 miles every day that I am not going to the gym. Sometimes due to major feet and knee problems I may only get to do 1 mile. My walk involves steep uphill roads as I live in the mountain area of BC.

Organizing with Physical challenges

With physical challenges and your house is a mess, attack it like a stone rather than a mountain -- one room at a time and rest inbetween chores. This will save your sanity and your energy and make you have a sense of accomplishment. emoticon

Giving Up My Excuses

I have used the excuse of pain from neuropathy and low back to keep me from going back to exercising.
I chose this week to plug ahead despite pain.
Secret: It is easier to excuse ourselves away than doing what we can in small doses. emoticon
