Eat to kick up the weight loss

When you push and push for your work outs and maintain your calories, usually at the low end, and the weight loss stalls...what then? Eat more! One or two days a week, not consecutive, go over the calories for the day.

Visualization

I use visualization to help me. When I see something about someone that I admire I visualize myself obtaining it (defined armes, strong core, etc). I also research it to determine what path is best to obtain my goals and visualize myself on various points of the path. It works!

Elliptical Trainer

I thought I was a freak when I complained to my doctor that my feet go numb!!! on the ET and she responded "What? I've never heard of that" so I got on SP and found a lot from others about this.

My tip....lift your feet at the upper point of the circle/cycle, whatever you want to call it. When you are moving, which ever leg is the highest, bring your foot up just enough so its not on the peddle and then set it back down. Make sure you are holding on, you don't want to fall. emoticon

Not Smoking!!!

Drink Water with a Straw!
The straw is shaped like a cigarette, and you still have the action of pulling a substance into your mouth. This works great even after the physical withdrawal is over and your mind craves a smoke. Not only are you not smoking, you are getting in all your water too!
