Had the hardest time drinking the 8-8oz glasses of water until I remembered as a nurse we would encourage patients to drink with a straw. Holy Cow it works like a charm. Before you know it the glass is empty and you just fill it up again. Using a 16 oz. glass works even better !
Drinking eight 8-oz glasses of water, really helped to jumpstart my weightloss. Not only was i less hungry, because i was so full of water, but i was motivated by dropping the water weight first. I actually drink four 16-oz glasses, i drink one with each meal and then one sometime throughout the day.
I saved one pair of pants, my biggest ones and tucked it away so I can pull them out when I reach my goal weight. As I lose the weight and my pants and shirts get too big I am not saving them. I don't ever want to look back or make it easy to put on my 'fat pants'.

Have you noticed that the dinner plates just keep getting larger? When your plate or bowl are large you tend to fill it up. We switched to eating off of salad plates and I bought smaller bowls to eat out of in order to keep our portion sizes in control.
When I first started I was diligent about logging al of my food each day and checking it several times a day to make sure I was still on track. Then I stopped, thinking I knew how to eat right. I didn't gain any weight but my weight loss all but stopped.
