I tried losing weight many times with no success. If this is happening to you - Try counting your calories. It is the only way I ever have any success in weight loss. Tracking your fitness minutes is fun too, but I find calories super-important!

If you are craving something, for example, a peanut butter sandwich. Make a half a sandwich, eat it, enjoy it and if you still want more, make the other half. Don't make the whole thing up front, only half. Gives you time to think about making another one and if you really NEED it.
When I feel like I'm about to crack and indulge, I take a 10 minute walk. It clears my head - much better than giving in.
When I get the after-dinner munchies and am tempted to snack, I brush my teeth. I am much less likely to eat afterwards.
To lose weight, the key is to SWEAT! You can do anything as long as it makes you sweat. 30 Minutes of sweating each day will definately help you lose weight. You can clean. dance. exercise, walk...whatever you enjoy, but sweat it off!!
Only eat until you feel comfortable. Your brain takes twenty minutes to catch up with your stomach. So before you overindulge wait twenty minutes. You will be full!

If you're having a tough time finding time to work out, schedule an appointment for a workout, treat it like you would a dr's appointment: do not miss it and go on time.
If you want to lose weight, make sure you intake more calories earlier in the day. It's not the time of day that matters (a calorie is a calorie); it's that you're giving yourself a chance to burn it during the day.
