Start Over If You Have To

When I have a bad day, I mourn it, make a resolution to do better tomorrow and then set aside the bad deed. It makes no sense beating myself up and fouling up my attitude. Tomorrow gives me the opportunity to start over. So start over if you have to, your body will be happy if you do.

Can't eat just one!

Chips! Measure out a serving in a bowl or plastic baggie. I never eat straight out of the bag anymore and Do Not go back for refills. :)

Weigh Less Measure More...

I've found that getting on the scale too often can be a real DEmotivator! I started taking measurements every week instead. Since I'm doing a lot of strength training, I notice the loss much more in my measurements. I still get on the scale, just not as often.

Everything in moderation?

Although in general 'everything in moderation' may seem to be sound advice, for some (like me) certain foods must be off limits completely since I can not yet control how much of it I eat. Let's face it, Frito-Lay was right in that old TV commercial, you can't eat just one.
