DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP.

ONCE YOU ARE EXERCISING CONSTANTLY AND YOU ARE NOT LOOSING WEIGHT, DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP BECAUSE YOU MAY BE BUILDING MUSCLES. NOT EVERYONE LOSE WEIGHT THE SAME WAY. KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND ALL WILL BE TAKING CARE OF. MAKE SURE YOU DRINK LOTS OF WATER WHILE EXERCISING.

Metamucil

When I recently started my weight loss plan, my doctor recommended adding 1 heaping tbsp of sugar free metamucil to 8 oz of water and drinking it (quickly), 30-60 minutes before each meal. It has really helped me to eat less at my main meals. The SF Lemonade is our favorite!

TRACK

I have found it is so easy to eat WAY too many calories if I don't write down everything. For me, the BEST thing is to write down ALL the things I will eat, and STICK TO THAT LIST!!!

Wintergreen

I keep a bowl of pink wintergreen mints on the coffee table. I find when I need something sweet, instead of reaching for the chocolate, I pop a couple of those in my mouth and suck on them. They're just sweet enough and the mint cleanses my palate. And they're only 12.5 calories each.

Don't Watch Cooking shows on TV

If you're a foodie like me, don't watch any cooking shows on tv, as they only make you hungry. Watch the learning channel or home and garden tv instead. This way you're not thinking about making that potato salad, but how to clear clutter out of your family room, etc.. emoticon

Avoid mindless eating while watching TV

I keep a dish of 3 or 4 packs of sugarless gum by the sofa for when I get the munchies watching TV. There are different flavors to keep me from being bored chewing the same thing.

Drink lemon water.

Having a lemon in water will boost you weight loss and can taste better then plain water. Especially when drinking two cups upon waking. This boosts your metabolism and leaves your face looking thinner throughout the day.
