Fitness with a Purpose

I've been doing the Ultimate Body Challenge for 10 years now and it just proves that you have to enjoy what you do to stay consistent in order to keep the weight off. The kickboxing class flies by because the music keeps you pumped and getting to punch a bag is very stress-relieving!

To Go in the first half...

i might've missed the posting for this one, but here goes anyways. When we go out to eat, I generally as for a To - go container so that I can immediately save the other 1/2 of my meal for later instead of all at once.

Drinking ENOUGH water...

I strive to be consistant with getting in at least 96oz of water on a daily basis; I use a 32oz bottle, and the first one I've made a personal requirement to drink it an hour before I leave to workout, then after coming home I'll startt on my second one, and by evening I've had 2 of those!

Small Utensils

When I first moved in with my fiancÚ, a friend gave us silverware for a housewarming gift. We never used them because they were smaller than regular utensils, but I use them all the time now. They make me feel like I'm taking big bites.

Having my cheese and eating it too...lol

I love cheese...I HATE LOW FAT CHEESE...to me it tastes like rubber! So in order to satisfy my need for cheese I use a potato peeler to slice my cheese. I get all the taste I need on my sandwich at a fraction of the calories!!
