Eat with Chopsticks

Eat with chopsticks!! By doing so you are forced to slow down. You can't really shovel food in your mouth or pay attention to whats on T.V

Drinks count too!

Sometimes I enjoy a tea or a soda for most of the day, but it's not at breakfast lunch or dinner. So I put drinks on my tracker. Now I can look and see it may not be just the snacks, it could be what I drink!

I'm Small Not Tall

After marriage I started to eat the larger portions like my 6'2" husband and I'm 5'3" well... I gained 40 pounds!! Since starting Spark as I'm filling my plate I remind myself to keep the portions with in reason by telling myself "I'm small, not tall." emoticon

Tricking your tongue!

I learned that when I crave sugar, the best thing I can do is drink black coffee! Bitter is the opposite of sweet. ( and I truly enjoy black coffee). When I do this, my sugar craving goes away completely! Try it!

Avoiding late night eating

A favorite Weight Watcher Leader once said: :when you're finished your planned food for the day, go to bed, there me more in the morning". I found I often overate late at night because I was tired or upset. Sleep helped resolved both

I have learned that by planning my meals for the next day helps keep my on track with my program. I can make sure I stay with-in my calories as well as get much of my food prepared ahead of time! Helps me stay on track!

WATER!!!!!!!!!

I have found that drinking lots and lots of water is my key to actuallt loosing weight they say not to drink too much because you can was away vitamines and mineral but it you are eating right then you can never was away anything but fat!!! lol
