When I get really stressed, I make and drink a hot cup of tea. The best part is that I add honey and lemon juice if I want! I associate green tea with relaxation now because I am an emotional eater. Now, instead of bingeing when I get stressed I can indulge in one of my favorite drinks! With WAY less calories!
I set my alarm on my phone to remind me when to eat and drink. I eat every 2.5 hours - 5 small meals a day and drink my water before the meals. This helps me keep on track and I never feel hungry. Before you know it, all my meals are done, I feel full and I look forward to starting a new day and seeing my results!
From the moment the family's awake, my time is committed. So beginning a few months ago, I decided to "seize morning", meaning early morning before they get up. I "take my mind out for a walk" and get home peacefuller and fitter while the house still sleeps. My moment!
When I was little, I played outside until the sun went down. We were forced to come in for lunch and dinner. We didn't want to take the time to eat! It was more like a chore. I believe we should view eating as a chore. Something we have to do for nutrition, but not as a hobby (which is what it has been for me for awhile now).
