I learned to stop criticizing myself. I wouldn't say such cruel things to anyone else. So, why say it to myself?
It is hard to stay motivated when life itself can throw negative trials your way. Such as the scale tipping upwards, job related issues, family problems, and such...... when you are trying your best to loose weight and stay focused on a healthy life-style it doesn't take much to throw you off kilter! Don't allow this steal from what you have already accomplished!
I envision the fat just melting off my body. . . My face is getting slimmer, etc. I tell myself very day how much stronger I am getting. Because I speak positive to myself through out the day when I am faced with a temptation I can walk away. . . Smiling.
Failures do not exist. What we call a failure is but a lesson learned and a step taken to a better us. Without these failures we would never be able to learn from these mistakes and make ourselves better in the long run.
do all this for you and you alone. stop saying you are not worth it or do it because someone else thinks you should or makes fun of you. you matter and need to want to better yourself because thats where your heart is at, at this point in your life. you will be so much happier and lighter feeling along the journey and just happier with yourself.
Write a Thank You note to anyone that is helpful, inspirational, or kind. Write a note to yourself, the check-out clerk, the mail deliverer. Perk = the time spent writing is time not mindless munching. It's learning to be in the moment. Bless another and you bless yourself. Be well.
