I drink 1.5 liters of water a day before I can drink my diet soda. I fillter water and refill bottles every Sunday for the following week. My soda consumption has been cut in half or more and I am saving money while staying hydrated.
To stay healthy, I mix in a blender two fruits, two veggies, or even five sometimes, pinto beans (protein), one egg (protein), a sugar substitute, and greens. This makes about 2 cups.
Take a "Caffeine Nap"
I have some serious problems with stress, and when I encounter a mega stressful situation, I first walk away (if possible physically, if not then mentally). Then I deep breathe into each part of my body, and thank that body part for supporting me. When you realize how much holds you, and is behind you all the way (strong legs, hard-working hands), you can conquer anything.
I discovered the acupressure mat. I use it on the soles of my feet, and sometimes other areas of the body. It relaxes and stimulates at the same time. We started a SparkPeople group for those of us trying out the mat, and we welcome you!
