After much investigating, I have found a couple of great places that make it easy for me to enjoy a night out with my husband. Golden Corral not only has great salads and healthy entree choices, but they also have several sugar free or no sugar added desserts. Also you can now go to Chick-fil-a and get a nutrition list of the item you are ordering from the cashier. They print it off at the register. They also now have grilled nuggets. They taste great.
I have different water bottles everywhere... one at work, one in the kitchen, one in the living room, one in my bedroom, and one in my gym bag... so that I am never without! It makes it harder to track how much water I'm drinking, but I definitely drink more as a result!
I have never been a water-drinker, so trying to consume 8 cups a day is a bit of a challenge for me. Sometimes, when I want to jump-start my water consumption for the day, I'll trick myself... I fill up my water bottle and add a packet of 0 calorie Propel Fitness Water mix. I give it a shake, shake, shake and it makes my water taste great! Once I finish that bottle, it makes the rest of my plain water fill-ups much easier to finish!
