How do you stay motivated and find inspiration to stick with your program?
I like using mini weight goals to keep me motivated. My goals use the next smallest number from my weigh in. Like now I weigh in at 116.1 kilos, my next goal is to weigh in the 115s kilos. And it works really well. I always have that next number in my head when I eat or work out. It really works!
Think about how it will help you not only everyday but in the future. Something that we think is such a small change like tracking all of our food or exercising 10 minutes can have a great impact in many areas of our life.
Do everything with positive intention and with 100% commitment. Have to clean to toilet? Then clean it 110% with a smile on your face. This trains you to do everything to the best of your ability and this spills over into every aspect of your life: chores, tasks at work, exercise, friendships, e...
Some medications make you gain weight or keep you from loosing weight. Make sure to talk with your doctor if you taking medications while trying to loose weight.
while exercising i think of my sweat as fat just melting off of me. that gives me extra motivation to kick it up a notch and push even harder to sweat more (melt more fat)
You may have an ideal body in mind, but don't wait until you have lost all the weight to dress for it! Figure out your body shape, your ideal colours and dress to impress NOW!
By encouraging other people on spark or in the here and now, not only gives that person a spark of motivation but by sparking them you get sparked as well. In other words what goes around comes around!
Pick a gym that you DRIVE by on your way home from work. That way, you can only always guilt yourself into that workout because really, the gym is RIGHT THERE!
I find that when I send someone an e-mail, make a phone call, send a letter via snail mail, or even a text message to motivate someone I end up being the one who is motivated.
