When feeling low..

I just started that when I am feeling low upset or discourage or stressed out I turn to my radio or my ipod and listen to music..being uplifting or something from my time disco..Now I have in my office a radio on low , in my car and at home ..music they say uplifts the soul...

Favorite Dress

I have a dress that I absolutely love!!! It's a size 5 and I am currently wearing a size 10. I have it hanging where I can see it and every day I look at it and tell myself that I WILL get back into that dress. I look at it when I exercise and also when I get the late-night munchies!

Workout Jar

Every time I workout for a half hour, I put a quarter in my "Workout Fund." When I've saved up some money, I buy a new small piece of fitness equipment (e.g., yoga mat, balance ball, workout video). If I workout for an hour at a time, I add seventy-five cents and an hour and a half earns $1.50!

Don't overdo it!

Although you may just be starting out, resist the temptation to try to do too much initially when it comes to exercise. Try to make your exercise easy enough that you will be willing to do it again tomorrow. Don't try to be like "Rocky" each day or else you will dread it later...keep it simple!

Goals

Keep some of your goals within easy reach. It's all well and good to have that ultimate end-all goal. But to keep the enthusiasm going it helps to have short-term reasonable goals. And remember to reward yourself!
