Ive read the benefits of Greek yogurt. I cant stand the tart taste of it alone. So, I buy a large container at Costco, split it into 4 servings and add 1 Tablespoon of sugar free marmalade, jam or something similar and let it sit for a day or two. It is a special treat.
Eating a high fiber dinner keeps me full so I don't eat after dinner.
I find that when I get a minimum of 64 oz of water I don't feel as hungry and I know my body "runs" more efficiently. AND the more water I drink, the less not-so-healthy liquids I ingest!
Eating lots of fruits and veggies have helped me with weight loss. No fruit juices since they have a lot of sugars but the real fruit that one can bite into. It has all the nourishment and fiber and it tastes lovely. Since I am on the road so much I buy some each morning and start the day!
I try and plan ahead what I'll eat on any given day --- especially when I'll be away from home making sure I have healthy food (such as a yogurt, low sugar granola bar, nuts, assorted fruits & veggies) so I won't get that hungry feeling that sabotages the best dieting plans.
Many people play drinking games with alcohol. I play them with water! In the car take a drink of water after each song on the radio, watching tv take several drinks during each commercial break, at work take a drink after answering each phone call or email. 8 cups will be gone before you know it!
