I adapted a Jillian Michaels quote to help me overcome emotional eating and start eating better. The new quote is:

Now I make empowered food choices. I no longer feel like food overpowers...
I knew I was going to have a salad at KFC with a friend, so I brought my own salad spritzer to use instead of their 280 calorie dressing. My friend noticed & the conversation about my choice allowed me to also Spread the Spark!
Check food labels carefully. The less ingredients the better and avoid the ingredients you can't pronounce or have sugar in the first five items. By doing this, I feel better and have lost weight.
I bought sm. plastic containers to bring my own salad dressing with me when I go out to eat. I also put that in a plastic baggie so if the lid comes loose I can save the contents of my purse.
They are good. They are worth the calories for your snack. Teen GD told me bout them. 90 calories and 30 from fat,(3.5 grams) so only carry 1 packet. You would want to eat more as they are tasty.
I always crave something sweet after a meal and usually in the afternoon, but instead of eating a cookie or bowl of ice cream reach for the fruit! Keep your favorite fruit around the house and be sure to cut it (if necessary) as soon as you can so when your sweet-tooth hits have some sweet-fruit!
I have this nasty habit of eating things while i cook to make sure they are cooked properly.... and i end up eating a lootttttt in course of time. The Saviour is a humble chewing gum which keeps me from eating here and there

With all the healthy eating, I get bound up. The quickest natural way to relieve the situation is one tablespoon of vegetable oil. No taste, few calories and no drugs.
Rice cakes and a cup of diet hot chocolate tide me over until I can make a healthy dinner!
