When I have croutons with my salad, i crumble them to make it look like there's more on a plate. I'm such a visual person and it really does the trick of convincing my mind that there's plenty croutons in there where in reality it's only a couple. You'll save a lot of calories in your salad doing so

Every so often double check info on packages. I manually entered nutritional values for an item and about 2 month later the company must have changed the recipe to cut cost and it changed the nutritional values to lower values.
I've found that even though buying the pre-portioned ice cream servings from Weight Watchers, Skinny Cow, etc. is much more economical. One box of 6 bars for $5 may cost more than the $3 I'd pay for 12 servings in a half-gallon of ice cream, but those bars last 6+ days; reg ice cream lasts 2-4 days.
