Vacuum bags

On a few weekends I cook a few "large" meals. We than measure them ie a cup of chilli, put them in vacuum bags and freeze. They stay fresh for an extended period of time with the vacuum bags, we always have a variety on hand to take for lunch or for a quick dinner when we don't feel like cooking

a little bit of cheese goes a long way

I love cheese and I could easily eat too much of it ,so I select a small piece of parmesan cheese and use a lemon zester to grate it over my vegetables- It grates the cheese into much smaller pieces, than a regular grater and I get the taste I want (crave),from a small chunk.

SPRING STEAMED GREENS or RAABS

I eat at least one bunch of steamed spring greens like kale, collards, stinging nettles etc, each day. This time of the year market fresh greens are sweet and delicious.

tofu paties

Mix oatmeal, drained tofu, canned salmon, and sauce; use an ice cream scoop to scoop the ingredients into a plastic wrap, shape the ingredients into a flat patty, and freeze. 90 seconds on one side, flip over, and 90 seconds on the other side in the microwave. Eat with rice or as a sandwich.
