Do you have a kitchen or cooking secret that saves time, calories or clean up?
I have a few ways that I use frozen spinach because it is so convenient. I make a spinach-rice casserole, cream of spinach soup, spinach frittata, but I'm always looking for new recipes to use it. (but I don't care for spinach in smoothies, I know that most say you can taste it but I certainly can)
Italian dressing dry mix
2 Splenda packets
1 Salad shaker
Mix 2/3 vinegar with 1/3 water, a couple of Splenda packets and dry Italian dressing mix in a dressing shaker.

I kept having my rice cooker spewing out liquid when cooking brown rice.
I started putting the steamer basket in empty and it "breaks up the bubbles" as the rice cooks -- no more spewing!
