I love specialty coffees when I go out with friends, or for a break at work. But they're all calorie laden, and they cost a lot too. But those specialty coffee places always have brewed coffee available with special treats you can add. For me, I like to dress mine up with a little soy milk, one packet of sugar, and either cinnamin or unsweetened chocolate powder. And if the place offers a discount for using one of their mugs, so much the better.
I have decided to not watch TV during the summer months by disconnecting my TV. I am doing more walking & outside activities by not watching TV. This way I am hoping this will break the plateau I have been on for the past six weeks.
Break through a plateau by kick starting your metabolism in the morning with a short workout. After a frustrating plateau, I started riding the stationary bike in the morning for 15 mins, in addition to my regular workouts. Within days my weight started going down again. Plus, a 100 kcal workout every morning adds up to an extra full days workout by the end of the week.
Drink your water don't sip on it all day and THINK you are getting in enough. Also you may need to get in more than 64 oz a day to lose. I have to drink 120oz or more in a day to lose. It gets easy with time. I use to gag on it but now I don't mind so much.
