Thank you for showing us this exercise. I already do the calf raises, fairly regularly. I don't think I'll add the hopping though - arthritis and obesity is not a good combination for doing that on 1 leg. I could maybe try some very small bounces, very small jumps both legs together, to spread the load?
Where I fell on my left knee I can't do them right now but I will. I like that.

May be a good exercise for some people, but you should warn those with knee/ankle/foot issues (such as osteoarthritis) not to do this. The raises would likely be beneficial, but the hopping is dangerous for those with these issues.
I will give it a try, thanks Nicole for the tip, but my concern is I have strong calfs and sometimes I get charlie horse's, from too much leg work? What do I do?????

I wonder if this will help me with the inside of my calves? I have absolutely no definitition on the inside of my calves and would like to some tips on building that part of my calves. I have even heard if I do some type of calf exercises with my toes pointed out or in would help but I'm not sure. Anyone have any tips?
