Just watched this to see if it would be appropriate for me (just getting back into exercise after about a year and a half of vegging!). I have done gym workouts and exercise classes before so found some familiar moves and I like he low impact I but agree that it does end abruptly, It is easy enough to add your own cool down at the end if you are familiar with workouts - just a march in place would work with some deep breathing, I can see me using it even though I am pretty much a beginner level fitness wise just now but I would do some marching in place where needed during the video to catch my breath (as suggested in the description) and add my own cool down and probably some stretching. The warm up is a bit more problematic unless one does some warm up with marching in place and maybe some easy arm movement before starting the video. I wouldn't' call it a beginner video though if one has absolutely NO background in fitness or exercise. There are easier ones to start with on the site like the cardio intervals.
Based on the "abrupt ending" comments, I just found a cardio cool down video on You Tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar3BGF8do7 I). I had it ready on another tab and just switched over at the end. Worked out quite well!
P.S. You can purchase this video on an instant download from Amazon.com They have several workouts that are $3-$4 to rent for 48 hrs or you can purchase them for around $10. For those who like the 1st segment of this workout, you might look into this.
I really enjoyed this workout. It's more exciting than a walking video and the music is really good. Obviously 12 min doesn't give much time for a warm up & cool down, and I agree that this is kind of a "commercial" to get you to buy the video, but based on this spot I would consider the purchase.

that was a good workout, just my speed and i used my dumbbells with it
i would like to read the comments before doing these work out videos im 65 and a beginner and this was way to hard for me, i prefer the exercize video that warn you up and bring you down slow , quick stops is like slamming your bakes on in your car not good for the body

I agree with almost everyone else........it was a good work-out, but cutting it off in the middle really stunk! It really was just a commercial to get you to spend money. I am disappointed.
Did a little research -- this is just a 12 minute clip from a three DVD set that they will sell you for $24.99 -- there's a lot more to the workout, they just cut it off at 12 minutes. Pretty lame if you ask me.
