Thank you Chris for doing this. I have heard a lot of good things and now I finally joined. I have a LOTTTTTTT of weight to lose and have tried everything except gastric bypass or lap band. After spending about 4 hours going through so much of this website I feel like, Finally, maybe I have a chance! I look forward to starting and want to thank you again. This was the best idea ever, I use it to help me manage my diabetes though I am very under weight it motivates me in eating the proper foods and exercise and the friends I need very much people with similar mission!

Hello - Thank you for this site. I was a member years ago, but life and computer crashes got in the way. Then I just "gave up", and you know what? Giving up didn't help me lose weight. I now am approximately the weight was when I started, but I've added to the list of comorbidities. I now have diabetes 2, hypertension and high cholesterol. My insurance company has recently set me up with a "care coach" who has been a great advocate and set me up with a team of nurses, doctors, physical therapists at a pool. This has given me the excitement to come back here and track myself. They are putting me on the dash diet, but there is no place better than here to track food input. Anyway, thank you for giving me another piece of the puzzle. I have referred my care coach here so that she can see how great it is. Again, thank you for your input. Kathryn

Thanks Chris. I decided to try this after a friend of mine has lost 60 pounds doing your program. I've been on a low carb diet for 3 months and down 10 but i really believe that going back to counting calories is the way to go. Thanks again!!

I'm just starting on my Sparkpeople journey. But thank you for such a wonderful supportive site that is free. Financially challenged people can't afford personal trainers, diets and exercise programs but you site gives us choices. Something we can't buy. Thank you

I'm sure HUNDREDS of people have said "Thank you Chris!" - so I'm not saying anything original or witty. But THANK YOU CHRIS! You really are changing people's lives! No matter how much I "get off track" with any of my health-building habits, I keep coming back to SparkPeople because it's a wonderful resource to help me get back on a healthier path!
