Thank you for sharing that, as I have had a hard time with stress eating lately. I went for my first 3 1/2 mile walk in a month today . Your journey has helped me get up and start to move. Thank you very much and keep up the good work. You are an inspiration to me. Linzee
Funny - your before pictures doesn't look like you are carrying 70 lbs. You look like the average Jane on the sidewalk. I'm about 70 lbs over weight too and I know I do look like I'm carrying it.
I've been a member of SP for several years. Even though I haven lost any weight I use SP to motivate me to try to do better. I think one day something will click in the things I read and do to try to be healthy and I will finally do what I need to do to LOSE the weight - just as you did!

I am so Happy to rediscover Spark People! The Encouraging Stories....and Exercise Suggestions Really Have Helped....Now I have a New Must do, Wall Pushups and Couch Pushups....I will Make time each day for them, My goal is 1 set of 10 reps. each...4 the first week then increase them into 3 sets of 10, and do My 30 Min. walks. It is a Start and Achievable! Thanks, for Encouraging Me to continue on my Weight Loss Journey! I Have went from 450+ to 302. it is hard to break the 300 mark, I go down to 290 then Back to 302.
