Well its will power people... if you can' t follow the serving size you are going to over indulge. If you can stick to the serving size great !!! Simple solution don't have it in the houseif its going to be that hard. Sorry to be so blunt.

It's good these treats have less than 100 calories but look at the sugar grams most have more than 5 grams.

Also, I agree with maggierosebowl. I would appreciate if sparkpeople could try to post less photos of delicious looking junk food. Please try to remove those photos and instead post photos of healthy looking food. The photos of junk food just make me crave it. If you post delicious looking photos of fruits and veggies, that would really help.

This is great information! They sell big bags of halloween candy where I work and it's a temptation. It's good to know a whole days allotment is in one tiny bar so I don't make the huge mistake of eating an entire bag of fun sized treats. I'm going to stay away from halloween candy this year.

I agree, the pictures should match the serving size, they talk about.

The title of this piece indicates treats, but seven gummi bears would be torture . . . . It's helpful to know how dangerous candy is, but I don't know anyone who eats a single fun-size and sits back saying "yeah, best halloween ever."

As if I could stop at just two caramels or one fun-sized Almond Joy bar...
Right.

Just looking at these pictures makes me crave the darn candy. Do you not realize you are dealing with food addicts, Spark People??!

I know the "not eating them" advice can be very difficult to follow. However, I will share this tiny victory story: we brought home several -- okay a lot -- of pieces of Easter candy this year. I put most of them in a plastic bag and that into our freezer. The other day I found the bad -- somewhat depleted, but still with quite a few pieces of candy remaining. There is hope for Halloween, too!
