Sauerkraut with Red Wine and Onions Print Recipe

A great side dish for pork chops or lean sausages.


Ingredients
2 cups sauerkraut
1 cup diced onion
1/4 cup red wine
1 tbsp thyme
1/2 tbsp butter

Directions

Saute' the onions in the butter until translucent.
Add the sauerkraut and thyme, cook until heated through. Remove from heat, stir in wine.
Place back on heat, simmer for 10 minutes.
