My desire to change is much stronger than in the past when I wanted to lose weight. I have to focus on "Yes, I can, Yes, I can. I so do want to change for the better to become a better me!
I need to lose weight to improve my health. My muscles and joints are buckling under excess weight. I need to be able to get around, to walk, to exercise, to play with my grandchildren. I am ready to make the changes I need to make to live better, and to be healthy.

This is so true. It should be the Mantra of ALL aspects of weight loss
That really is the bottm line. You can add all the ifs, ands or buts you want to but unless something different is done this time around, nothing will change with regard to my weight. But if I'm not losing, i'm gaining -- what a scary thought. Change is definitely in order.
Since the day we were born we changed, never did we stay the same. And as we continue to age and grow in life we need to make changes for the good so that we can say "I did that" rather it be small or large, its still a change and not staying the same.
