Although I have exercised throughout my life, I never considered myself athletic because I went to school before Title IX. Before Title IX, it seemed like there were the natural-born athletes, and then the rest of us: they were good and we were middling.
During the past two years, I've taken Body Pump, Pilates, and Yoga at the gym and have been astounded by how competent I could become and by how my body has changed. At age 67, I am literally "remaking my body" and am always excited to see what changes will come next.
