How many of us have said…I will help do this or I’d like to be involved in that? Too many of us have grand intentions, but forget about the importance of following through. It is far better to make time to complete small good deeds than to spend your time talking about what you want to do “one day.” Sometimes you may feel that doing a small deed will not make a difference. Just remember, every little bit helps. No matter how small you think your actions are, you are making a difference.

Dear Startplewis,
Everyone procrastinates to a point. If you are doing it to the point that it hurts your family, friends, or self, seek counseling. A good counselor can help you figure out why you don't get things done. Do you procrastinate because you don't want to hurt feelings, one-up somebody, etc? You're smart and can make decisions if you need to.
I have a problem being on time. I'm not always late, but it certainly doesn't make me look good. I'm always trying to get a couple more things done before running off to pick up kids, going to an appointment, getting to work on time, etc. I'm tired of showing up 5 or 10 minutes late so I'm working on setting priorities and planning ahead better.
Procrastination has become a constant problem in my life. Just getting things done like folding the laundry or emptying the dishwasher is difficult and forget about making any important decisions. If I don't make decision the "problem" will go away. We all know better than that, but it is getting better. I have a great group of family and friends that hold me accountable and push me when necessary. And sometimes I even make a decision without being pressured. Family and friends I could not do it without them. thanks
