Motivational Quote - What a child doesn’t receive he can seldom later give.

SparkPeople's Comments

So much of a person’s personality is developed during the very early stages of life. A child learns an endless amount about life at its early age; like how to treat others and what is right or wrong. Who do you think is going to teach these youngsters this stuff? It will be mainly the parents, along with other members of the family. And remember, a child is going to imitate what his or her parents do. So set a good example for your children. Try to teach them positive lessons they can carry on through life. The more good habits they develop at a young age, the easier it will be as they grow up to teach them. And the more good qualities your child possesses, the more he or she will be able to contribute to the world.

It is very important to be ever vigilant as parents-- to teach children in a wholesome environment ---with loving discipline. Teach them goodness, and teach them to be respectful of themselves and others. --- This kind of parenting is challenging, but indeed, it is rewarding. Great quote. . .
