Healthy Inspiration from SparkPeople

Motivational Quote - When eating a fruit, think of the person who planted the tree.

SparkPeople's Comments

How often do you remember the people that have made things possible for you? It is easy to take our privileges for granted. Over the next couple days, try to be aware of your surroundings and who has made them possible for you. Everything from the food you eat to the place you live. How have you been able to receive such wonderful things? One way to let someone know that you truly appreciate their efforts is to send them a quick note or return the kindness.

It is so true. We need to be grateful for everything that exists and really dwell on the wonder of it all. We also need to think about all the steps it takes to get there!

How easily we forget those who have helped us along our journey--that small gesture of an encouraging smile, a special treat, a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand when we were falling--it is important to be thankful for all the supporters who've helped us succeed when we might otherwise have given up. And we need to give those supporters credit when we see the fruits of our labors.
