Healthy Inspiration from SparkPeople

Motivational Quote - The miracle is not that we do work, but that we are happy to do it.

SparkPeople's Comments

Everyone has some responsibility in their life. More likely than not, you have work you have to complete on a daily basis, whether through your occupation, at home, or otherwise. This is fairly unavoidable. The question is, therefore, do you complete this work grudgingly, or with a smile? If you have to do something, what is stopping you from doing it cheerfully? It will make the work seem less burdensome, and enthuse those around you to chip in as well after they see all you can accomplish. Further, don’t forget to offer to pitch in to others if you see they need help. They will certainly appreciate a helping hand with a reassuring face.

What a wonderful example of charity and kindness Mother Teresa was--- and she did her work with a happy heart!--- Her self-sacrifice and her love for mankind can still inspire us after her death. Thank you for this important quote!

Work gives my life meaning and a sense of accomplishment, exercises my brain and balances my play.

Mohter Theresa was such an amazing lady! I admire her kindness and dedication. I have work to do. For my family, for my kiddos at school, for myself, and all of these to my God. I need to not only do them, but do them cheerfully. Thanks for the reminder, Mother Theresa! I'm not Catholic, but if I weren't who I am, I would want to be like you! :)
