Fall, with summer as a close second. At least in North Dakota! Winter you can forget about. Spring is too slushy and muddy with all the melted snow. Summer is great, but can get a bit too hot for runs. But fall is great! (September).

I love spring AND fall. But with all the pollen, fall is better.

Fall is the best season for EVERYTHING. For exercising, for eating fresh local food, for the sights and the smells of the great outdoors, for a clean start to a new school year. My Aunt Joan influenced me to just LOVE fall.

Springs are soggy, summers are too hot and humid, and winters too much snow sometimes to move. Falls have gorgeous colors, are less humid even if you get the occasional hot day, and when it gets to the point of frost, still warm enough to do stuff--and enjoy a cup of hot cider or cocoa afterwards.

Now, I remember why I never wanted to move down South. ..

I love the fall. Not as wet as than spring, and cool. Was surprised summer came in 3rd though.

All of the above, but definitely fall for being in the woods to exercise.

I exercise outdoors all of the above, but my favorite time is fall.

I'm in New England. So far, we're having a "nice" winter which means the pavement is not covered with ice and snow. Bright, intense sunlight is not for me anytime of the year --- I can't tolerate it glistening off the snow or beating down on the long days of summer. The fall and spring are for me! Looking at my walking/running log, I was outside most days in spring.

I run outdoors all year...absolutely hate the dreadmill! Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons though.
